About:
Established in 2001, the Health Institute is a four year academy style program with an emphasis on science for students with an interest in health careers. The program allows students to explore many professional careers in the medical field and offers technical certification programs in high school. This program prepares students for success with their post-secondary goals

Our Mission:
The Health Institute at Washington Union High School will seek to meet the needs of students and the health services community through collaboration and an integrated curriculum. In addition to coursework, students participate in special opportunities for work-based learning, industry connections, health industry certifications, and post-secondary educational opportunities.
